I’m excited to share that Brooke Noelke, Worldwide Channel Technical Lead has been named to 2022 CRN Women of the Channel List.
It is important to recognize the significant contributions of women to cybersecurity, however, equal representation of women is nowhere near a reality, especially at senior levels. A recent study by (ISC)2 found that women working in cybersecurity account for 24% of the overall workforce. This is a significantly higher finding than from 2017, when only 11% of study respondents were women, demonstrating new and expanding opportunities for women’s participation in cybersecurity.
The CRN Women of the Channel is a wonderful program, honoring professional accomplishments, demonstrated expertise and ongoing dedication to the IT channel. Our industry needs to continue pushing for more women and diversity in cyber. Heightened awareness on the topic — led by numerous women in cyber forums and initiatives — has helped move the needle in a positive direction. As we recognize this accomplishment, we also recommit in our effort to create an organization with diverse leaders and employees of all backgrounds and gender identities.
On June 6-9, we will be exhibiting at the RSA Conference in San Francisco. Make sure to follow us on LinkedIn for a code to your free expo pass. You can visit us at the Moscone Center, booth #4629, to meet some of our amazing women in security.
