Skyhigh Security made a big splash at the 33rd annual RSA Conference (RSAC) 2024 in San Francisco, CA. Our third appearance at this prestigious event was a tremendous success, showcasing our latest SSE capabilities and cutting-edge innovations. We engaged in booth demos and theater sessions, hosted customer and partner meetings, as well as analyst and media relations interactions. We also held our highly anticipated annual Customer Advisory Board (CAB). The icing on the cake was earning not one but two Global InfoSec Awards from Cyber Defense Magazine: “Best Product for Cloud-Native Security” and “Publisher’s Choice for Data Loss Prevention”. It was a fantastic opportunity to reconnect with our community of customers, partners, prospects, industry analysts, and media relations.
The RSAC theme, “The Art of Possible”, resonated deeply with us. Skyhigh Security is all about pushing boundaries and turning ideas into action. We’re helping customers leverage AI securely, safeguard data and chat history in GenAI apps, and streamline SSE operations with tools like our RegEx Generator. Read more about our AI innovations announced in the press release.
After the customer, partner, and analyst meetings, theater sessions, and booth discussions, traveling between the Intercontinental Hotel and Moscone Center, and walking the streets of San Francisco to attend other events, here are a few highlights and trends that emerged at RSA—in no particular order of importance:
Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to Help Make Security Easier: AI and Machine Learning were hot topics throughout the conference. At our booth, in theater presentations, and during CAB, customer, and analyst meetings, the focus was on making security simpler. Skyhigh Security helps protect data and ensure safe use of tools like ChatGPT, Google Bard and other LLM-based AI services . We’re also automating AI in our SSE portfolio to make complex functions easier for security administrators, such as using AI-ML auto-classifiers to categorize content and auto-generating RegEx for complex classifications.
Traditional VPN Replacement for the Remote Workforce: With remote work being the norm, organizations are moving away from traditional VPN solutions to secure their remote workforce when accessing private applications due to a variety of reasons – increased cost, lack of scalability and most importantly, lack of zero trust security along with rising vulnerabilities in traditional VPN solutions. A modern, zero trust network access solution is essential, assuming all users, devices, and networks could be compromised. Skyhigh Security provides a seamless, secure, scalable remote access solution when accessing business applications any time, anywhere in the world, and from any device.
The Importance of Data Security: Data Security is a top priority, despite its perceived complexity. Data sprawl is also important to address. Protecting sensitive data, both on-premises and in the cloud, and gaining visibility into where it resides given the increased scale of data, driven by AI adoption, is crucial. Skyhigh Security offers effortless, unified data protection and advanced DLP strategies to help companies discover, control, and protect their data.
Comprehensive Security Service Edge Management: Adopting a full stack of Security Service Edge (SSE) capabilities using a single management console with unified DLP is a key goal for companies. A unified SSE platform is critical as security admins manage numerous tools. Read more about Skyhigh Security’s comprehensive data-centric SSE platform in Vishal Rao’s recent blog.
Integrations with Security Technologies: Integrations with adjacent security technologies are important for an effective SSE journey. To better help companies in their SSE security journey, Skyhigh Security’s recent integrations include Trellix IVX for sandboxing, more HSM vendors, additional SaaS vendors for cloud app security, and Cisco SD-WAN.
