Customers and Partners Are Our North Star

By Paul Barbosa - Chief Revenue Officer

March 22, 2022 4 Minute Read

Today marks an exciting milestone for all of us at Skyhigh Security.

Our journey begins. I couldn’t be more thrilled to welcome our customers and partners to Skyhigh Security. There is no better time to re-commit the promise of our sales organization. As you look to accelerate your digital transformation, we’re here to serve you. That commitment begins with the clear-eyed understanding that our customers and partners are, and will be, our North Star. We are excited to roll up our sleeves to tackle the problems you face today and partner for the future.

As Chief Revenue Officer, I oversee and further align our field, commercial, and channel sales with our cross functional teams to solve how we secure data across our customer’s environment, both on premises and in the cloud. I can still recall my first job in the cybersecurity industry way back in 1997. Echoes of past challenges still ring true today. The harder we work, the more complex the cybersecurity problem has become and the more progress we need to make. I’ve been in your shoes and watched it unfold. The key to making progress as an industry is partnering closely with customers and partners. We are only successful when we deliver real solutions that not only address the most pressing needs of today, but also chart a future course to unlock unlimited potential for our customers and partners.

The most important place to start is understanding the new challenges facing our customers and partners today.

We are seeing customers rapidly embrace transformation initiatives centered around leveraging the cloud as a means to accelerate their business. Embracing the digital transformation quickly and securely brings potentially enormous business opportunities to compete successfully.

There’s no doubt the evolution to the cloud is complex, yet necessary. It has been compounded by the huge overnight influx of remote workers. Over the past two years alone, the pandemic has driven a sharp increase in the requirement for secure work from anywhere. Our job is to help you evaluate the best solution to securely protect your data, and provide visibility to it, through a converged, cloud-native solution.

Most companies are still tackling the challenge to adequately secure on-premise deployments and newly deployed cloud computing environments. The problem is bigger than providing secure infrastructure for enterprise environments or securing access to data. Organizations must also protect precious information assets in perimeter-less networking environments, to clouds, across clouds, and from clouds.

Companies are also being held back from successful adoption by complexity of the very tools intended to provide security. Companies have been dealing with too many integration points across too many disparate and incomplete security stacks. Each security product might require its own administrative and management console, let alone dozens of complex integration points.

The security and visibility of data through its lifecycle of creation, collaboration, and storage requires a new approach. Skyhigh Security, working hand-in-hand with our partners, is well-positioned to tackle these challenges and make our customers more cyber resilient.

Skyhigh Security has worked closely with our customers and partners to develop a well-integrated Security Service Edge (SSE) solution that solves the complexity.

Customers can now enjoy the benefits of a tightly integrated and extensible SSE platform to securely support their digital transformation. We believe that it is a testament to the platforms capabilities and benefits that we received the highest score across all use cases in the 2022 Gartner® Critical Capabilities for Security Service Edge report.

Our innovation is being driven by our intimacy with customers and our stance of being a close partner in their journey. As a result, we’re able to shape our products together to meet the needs of the customer journey. We recognize that organizations have too many tools to manage across too many environments and via a converged platform, strive to remove complexity from our customer’s daily lives and help them be more productive in their jobs.

Companies in the process of digital transformation are increasingly looking for the strategic partner they can trust. Skyhigh Security rises to the occasion to fill this role and help our customers successfully complete the transformation of their business. We are on a fast track to rapidly deliver the integrated cybersecurity platform for our enterprise, commercial, and government customers.

No matter where you are in your digital transformation journey—in the cloud, on-premises, or hybrid—Skyhigh Security’s SSE converged and easy to use platform goes beyond securing data access. It secures how sensitive data is used as it moves across the web, cloud, and apps using a single policy managed from an integrated management console.

The opportunity for Skyhigh Security, our customers, and our partners is significant.

Over 10 years ago, the original Skyhigh Networks pioneered the Cloud Access Security Broker category and provided the foundation for the comprehensive SSE stack we have today. Since then, we have continued to be a cybersecurity innovator. We have developed and acquired the key technologies and integrations required to deliver a world class SSE platform.

Every day we read about organizations who have been impacted by cybersecurity incidents. Security shouldn’t be a barrier to business, it should be an enhancer of it. The need for simpler data protection couldn’t be clearer.

We are excited to play our part in establishing a more secure reality for future generations.

Our success is driven by focusing on our customers and helping them deliver the return on investment and risk reduction they need to be successful. When we meet their needs, this drives true business partnerships. We’ll be relentless in creating solutions to quickly to address problems as our customers evolve. Our team can’t wait to meet you and deliver on our commitment.

Onwards and upwards.
